About the artist and song: Children of the Revolution was my attempt to give recognition to the young poeple who have been at the forefront of change on Climate. I would say 'give voice' but they do not need me to do that!
We are ISYLA (iz-EYE-la). Me, Amy Woodburn (songwriter and backing vocals) and singer-songwriter Lizzie Freeborn. I am 42 and Lizzie is 20. We met through our local Extinction Rebellion group and decided to create songs together about climate change.
Our songs are designed to have a broad appeal and try many different ways to reach out and engage with people on climate issues.
